Marimekko cont...

Just realized why Marimekko rang a bell. It was thanks to my friend Nora, who passed away May 9th of last year at the age of 27 after battling adrenocortal cancer. I miss her very much. Here is a link to her blog entry where she talks about Marimekko, and the beet soup that reminded her of it. She and her wonderful family have great taste in all things, especially cheese, prints and books. I hope to make it back to Minnesota to visit them.
