Went and saw the "ravishing beasts" show yesterday at the museum of Vancouver. The show is about taxidermy, and for the uninitiated, the museum is located at the planetarium, at Vanier park. It was an amazing show and they have a craft show coming up that opens on the 13th of January and it's called "art of craft". Totally worth checking out, and come to the craft night there on the 21st. I'm not sure if they have a new curator there or what but seems like there is some fresh energy that is doing great things there, like the show about cycling, which I missed, which included a screening of the triplettes of belleville in the park outside last summer. Hooray for forward thinking curators and museums!
